Do you have experience installing and running software from an open source project that is relevant to our mission of helping folks disentangle from Big Tech with more ethical alternatives? Do you have some experience working with open source projects or are wanting to learn more about working with them?
We're looking for volunteers to act as ambassadors to open source projects, that are relevant to our mission, who can:
- represent our community's interests to the project by raising issues, making contributions if you can (code, documentation, localization, etc.), advocating for the interests of our community to the project (including usability, accessibility, features, etc.)
- help our community members by advocating for appropriate use of the project, answering community questions, gathering common frustrations or requests, contributing to our guides
Are you interested? Reply below with a project you could help with! Please reply even if someone already has an interest in the same project, we need all the help we can get.
